EZ Dupe Product Limited Warranty

Thank you for purchasing the EZ Dupe Duplication System. Your EZ Dupe product has been manufactured to the highest quality standards. As such, your EZ Dupe product is warranted for one year from the date of purchase, or three years and four years if extended warranty is included, against defects in material and workmanship. During this period, such defects will be repaired, or the product will be replaced at EZ Dupe’s option, without charge. Any such repairs or product replacement may be either new or equivalent in performance to new. If replacement parts are used in making repairs, these parts may be remanufactured, or may contain remanufactured materials.

Hard drive mobile rack and caddy, USB/SD/Micro SD/Compact Flash (CF) and all other flash memory card connector module and socket board used in EZ Dupe duplication system are considered as consumable components, and covered with a 3-month limited warranty by EZ Dupe. After 3 months from the date of original purchase, the replacement for defective consumable component will be charged for service. There is no labor charge if the complete duplication system is within the warranty period.

This warranty does not cover: circumstances beyond EZ Dupe control; service or parts to correct problems resulting from the use of attachments, accessories, or alterations not marketed by EZ Dupe; service required as the result of unauthorized modifications or service; operation outside of the published environmental or operational specifications; improper maintenance; damage caused by misuse, abuse or negligence, or improper packaging upon return of product to EZ Dupe.

TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE ABOVE WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND NO OTHE WARRANTY OR CONDITION, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. EZ DUPE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY AND/OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT.

Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state or province to province.

TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE REMEDIES IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES.

EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL EZ DUPE OR ANY OF ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFIT, LOST DATA OR DOWNTIME COSTS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE, INABILITY TO USE OR RESULT OF USE OF THE PRODUCT, WHETHER BASED IN WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT EZ DUPE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBLITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Your use of the Product is entirely at your own risk. Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY STAEMENT DO NOT EXCLUDE, RESTRICT OR MODIFY, AND ARE IN ADDITION TO, THE MANDATORY STATUTORY RIGHTS APPLICABLE TO THE SALE OF THE PRODUCT TO YOU.

If your product becomes inoperable or does not function in accordance with the specifications published by EZ Dupe and is still within the original warranty specified when you purchased the equipment, please call the following toll free number to initiate a service call: 877-686-8868 x280 or 626-322-3860 x280. Your warranty will be checked against the registered equipment data base, and if verified, you will be asked to provide information to a warranty call coordinator on the product malfunction. Such information will be recorded on a data base at our administrative call center. A qualified technician will promptly return the call to further diagnose the problem with your equipment.

If it is not possible to repair the equipment over the telephone EZ Dupe will issue you an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number which you must clearly identify on the outside of the return shipping carton. You must then pack the equipment preferably in the original shipping carton for safe shipment to the EZ Dupe repair depot. You will be responsible for inbound shipping cost (ie: UPS, FedEx or USPS shipping cost). Upon receipt at the EZ Dupe repair depot, your system will be diagnosed, repaired and returned to you at EZ Dupe’s expense.

If we determine that the product is not covered under this warranty after it has been returned to the EZ Dupe Repair Depot, we will notify you and inform you of the service alternatives that are available to you on a fee basis.


Return Policy & RMA Procedures

1. RETURN FOR REPAIR
In-Warranty Repair
a. Items may be returned for repair without charge, under warranty, for ONE YEAR or up to THREE YEARS (Calendar date) from the date of invoice unless otherwise stated on the invoice. The warranty is non-transferable. EZ Dupe makes no guarantee of compatibility and does not guarantee items, which are used for any purpose other than those specified in its accompanying instruction manual. All returns must be authorized by EZ Dupe’s RMA Department at rma@EZ Dupe.com. Describe the item to be returned and the reason for the return. The RMA Representative will issue a RMA number. You may then return the item for repair. Be sure to write the RMA number clearly on the shipping label and enclose a copy of your original invoice.

b. For items that are phased out, or for which no replacement is available, or which are irreparable, EZ Dupe will give credit equal to a proportion of the original purchase value as follows: 12 Purchase months x 100%

c. Out-of-Warranty: If the manufacturer can repair the products, it will be subject to a repair fee. The repair fee is according to the manufacturer charges.

2. RETURN FOR CREDIT
a. Merchandise returned for credit is subject to a restocking charge. Prior to returning any merchandise to EZ Dupe, you must contact EZ Dupe’s RMA Department to request authorization to return material. EZ Dupe’s RMA Department will process the necessary paperwork and issue a RMA number which must be clearly displayed on the shipping labels on all returned boxes. Returned goods must be shipped in their original boxes and packing materials with a copy of the original invoice enclosed. All manuals, cables, diskettes, and accessories originally shipped must be included with the product and in sellable condition. Otherwise, the credit will be deducted accordingly. No returned merchandise will be accepted without an authorized RMA number.

b. There is a 20% restocking fee for credit returns between 0 to 30 calendar days from the date of invoice.

c. No refund or credit returns will be issued after 30 days. No exceptions.

3. SOFTWARE CD/DVD PRINTER AND SPECIAL ORDER RETURN
All sales of software, and special order are final. CD/DVD Printer’s warranty is half year only. Printer head is consumption and without any warranty.

4. CANCELLATION OR REFUSAL
All order cancellations must be received prior to shipment by EZ Dupe. Otherwise, merchandise refused or returned is subject to a service fee and shipping costs.

5. RMA number is good for 15 days. After 15 days, the RMA number is no longer valid and a new number must be obtained by customer.

6. All RMA products will be shipped back with ground service freight prepaid. However, priority delivery of replaced product(s) can be arranged if the requester is willing to pay the freight charged.

7. Please allow 3-4 weeks for refund processing.

Terms & Conditions

1. Missing items must be reported within 7 days upon receiving merchandise.
2. Returned checks will have a $25.00 fee imposed.
